We've been having a lot of complaints about an error that occurs after the 1.45 update. In particular, Android users with versions 4.4 and below (API level 20 and below).
Due to the new functionality that the app has with the ability to read PDF files, the minimum required Android version is 5.0.0 (API level 21). This means that any user has an Android version below 5.0.0 will not be able to run the updated version of Image to Text that allows you to read PDF files. We strongly encourage you to update your Android version to the latest available Android version as the version you are using is outdated and holds a lot of security bugs.
However, if you are unable to update your Android version to the latest available version, you can still use older versions (versions 1.44) but you won't be able to use the new features.
